Join us for a relaxed evening of simple Sashiko-inspired MENDING techniques a time to gather, stitch, and connect in a welcoming space. Get inspired to bring back new life to well-loved clothing. This is a broader interpretation than our 2 evening Sashiko series: think stylish patches.

Bring: Any project you’d like to work on—whether from previous sessions or your own practice

For those who have stitched with us before (Shashiko or otherwise), we’ll offer more advanced guidance and for those joining us anew you will experience the process of patching a garment by hand and learning the simple stitches of Sashiko.

Provided: Workspace, tools (thread + basic supplies), community inspiration, and soup to nourish you while you create

This is the perfect chance to slow down, connect, and stitch at your own pace while being part of a supportive creative circle.

Guided by Susan Robinson and Jan Hammock - you may bring your own project and enjoy the creative company. You will join a class as they continue to work on their project from the previous series. Come be inspired, bring that project you have been wanting to finish and be a part of this handwork revolution.
